Overview
Ann Kearney Astolfi, DMD, OC, is seeking a dependable and motivated Front Office Assistant/Dental Assistant Floater to join our periodontal practice in Bethlehem, PA. This part-time position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety and is comfortable supporting both the front desk and clinical team. We provide a welcoming work environment and hands‑on training to help new team members feel confident in their professional home.

Schedule
- Part‑time
- Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday
- 9:00 a.m.
-5:00 p.m.
Responsibilities
- Greet, check in, and check out patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer and direct phone calls and respond to office voicemails and emails
- Assist the Office Manager and front desk team with daily administrative and patient care responsibilities
- Help maintain a full and organized patient schedule
- Assist patients with understanding their recommended treatment
- Calculate fees for dental treatment and coordinate patient financial agreements
- Respond to patient billing and financial inquiries or direct questions to the appropriate team member
- Break down, clean, and prepare surgical treatment rooms
- Clean and sterilize dental instruments according to established safety protocols
- Support the clinical team as needed throughout the day
- Help maintain an organized, efficient, and welcoming office environment
- Assist with additional front office or clinical duties as requested
Qualifications
- Prior dental front office or dental assisting experience is preferred
- Current dental X-ray license is a plus
- Friendly, professional, dependable, and team-oriented
- Strong verbal communication, organizational, and customer service skills
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities
- Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast‑paced environment
- Willingness to jump in and assist wherever needed
- Commitment to providing every patient with an excellent experience
