Dental Hygienist

Registered Dental Hygienist (Full Time)

Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8 AM–4 PM (no Fridays or weekends)

Red Lion Dental is looking for a full-time RDH to join our York team. We’re a solo-doctor, 2-hygienist practice with a 4.9-star Google rating and a tight-knit team that genuinely enjoys working together.

• Pay: $38–$42/hour (or more based on experience).
• Schedule: 4-day workweek, no nights or weekends.

Your voice matters here. You’ll have the autonomy to make clinical recommendations based on what your patients need, with a doctor and team who respect your judgment and back you up.

We use Open Dental, intraoral cameras in every operatory, and iTero Lumina scanning to support patient education, track health over time, and plan treatment.

• Provide high-quality preventive care, including prophylaxis, periodontal therapy, sealants, and fluoride.
• Routinely scan hygiene patients and use the iTero tools to empower them about their oral health and options.
• Perform periodontal assessments, charting, and patient education.
• Take digital radiographs and maintain accurate, detailed clinical notes.
• Collaborate with the doctor and team to deliver comprehensive, wellness-focused care.
• Educate patients on home care, prevention, and overall oral-systemic health.
• Identify patients would would benefit from treatment beyond single tooth dentistry and help them understand the benefits.

• Active Pennsylvania RDH license.
• Certified to administer local anesthetic agents.
• Positive, dependable, patient-focused, and looking for a long-term dental “home”.
• Clear, confident communicator with patients and teammates.
• Comfortable using technology and learning new software;
  Open Dental experience is a plus but not required.
