About The Role
The Drafter is responsible for completing specifically assigned drafting projects as assigned by the Product Development Manager.
- Develop floor plans, elevations and construction detail for modular homes using CAD software.
- Interpret design concepts, specifications and customer requirements into precise technical drawings.
- Ensure all drawings comply with relevant building codes, regulations and company standards.
- Coordinate with engineering, production and the sales team to resolve design or construction issues.
- Revise and update plans based on feedback or design changes and maintain organized drawing files and project documentation.

- Interpret design concepts, specifications and customer requirements into precise technical drawings.
- Ensure all drawings comply with relevant building codes, regulations and company standards.
- Coordinate with engineering, production and the sales team to resolve design or construction issues.
- Revise and update plans based on feedback or design changes and maintain organized drawing files and project documentation.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar drafting software.
- Knowledge of residential construction, building codes and preferred modular building methods.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Motivated self starter.
