Design​/Product Development

The Designer is responsible for helping create new cabin products for Zook Cabins and producing renderings that bring those designs to life for clients, dealers, and internal teams. This role works closely with leadership and production to develop new floor plans, layouts, and features that fit Zook Cabins' quality and style, and creates accurate, appealing renderings used for sales, marketing, and production reference.

The Designer plays a key role in shaping how new products look and how clients experience them before a single board is cut.

• Design new cabin models, floor plans, and layouts in collaboration with the rest of the Product Development team.
• Create detailed, accurate 3D renderings of new and existing cabin designs for use in sales, marketing, and client presentations.
• Translate client requests into custom design options and renderings, working within Zook Cabins' standards and production capabilities.
• Maintain and update a library of standard designs, floor plans, and finish options to support the sales process.
• Work with production to ensure new designs are buildable, cost-effective, and consistent with Zook Cabins construction standards.
• Incorporate feedback from leadership, sales, and clients into design revisions in a timely manner.
• Stay current on design trends, materials, and features relevant to modular cabins and incorporate ideas that fit the Zook Cabins brand.
• Prepare clear design packages and specifications that production and sub shops can build from.
• Support marketing efforts by producing renderings and visuals for the website, brochures, and social media.
• Organize and maintain design files, renderings, and version history in an accessible, consistent format.

• New product designs are attractive, buildable, and aligned with Zook Cabins brand and standards.
• Renderings accurately represent the finished product and help clients make confident decisions.
• Sales and marketing teams have the visuals they need to present and promote new products.
• Design files and specifications are clear, organized, and easy for production to follow.
