As a PA-C, you will work under the supervision of the physician/surgeon, and perform diagnostic and therapeutic tasks to allow the physicians to extend their services through the more effective use of his/her knowledge in the sphere of decision-making required to establish diagnosis and to plan therapy of their patients. You may assist in gathering the data necessary in implementing the therapeutic plan of the physician/surgeon.

Position:Physician Assistant
Shift:Full time - 40 hours a week, Monday-Friday - no weekends or holidays!
Experience:- Two (2) years experience as physician assistant or Board eligible graduate in neurosurgery, ortho/spine, injections.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in an interdisciplinary environment.
- Bachelor of Science degree or more in a physical science from an accredited institution required.
- Must be a graduate of an accredited physician assistant/surgical assistant program.
Certifications:
- Must be certified or new graduate who is eligible for certification by the NCCPA (National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants).
- Active license with Pennsylvania State Board of Medical Education and Licensure.
- Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross).
- ACLS certification.
- Successful completion of the MLH credentialing process through the Medical Staff office, with temporary or permanent privileges approved.
This position requires you to wear a respirator as part of the job requirement.
