We are currently seeking a qualified Pathology Physician for locum tenens coverage near Tipton, PA. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to both outpatient and inpatient settings in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Job Details:

• Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
• Call Requirements: None
• Caseload:
  • 25-35 surgical cases per day
  • Optional additional 10 cytologies
  • Optional 3 to 10 bone marrow and flow cytometry cases per day
  • Not responsible for blood bank or grossing own specimens
  • No cutting frozen sections on the cryostat
• Patient Interaction: No involvement with residents in surgical cases

Staff Support:

• Physicians: 2 physicians on-site alongside locums
• Histotechnologists: 8
• Pathology Assistants: 1
• Cytotechnologists: 2

Certifications Required:

• Board Certification: Required; fellowship preferred
• State License: Pennsylvania
• Laboratory Certifications: CLIA, CAP, PA State, FDA, AABB
