Combination of inpatient and outpatient care - Call Schedule: 5 PM 5 PM during the assignment period
- Clinic Hours: 8 AM 4 PM with call coverage outside these hours
- Patient Load: 5-10 inpatient consults per day while on-call
- License:
Active Pennsylvania medical license - Certification:
Must be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Gastroenterology within 5 years of completing residency - Fellowship:
Fellowship-trained in Gastroenterology - Experience:
Comfortable performing standard Gastroenterology procedures, including upper and lower GI endoscopies
Skills:
- Upper GI Endoscopy:
Biopsy, foreign body removal, and treatment of varices - Colonoscopy:
Biopsy and polyp excision - ERCP:
Diagnostic and therapeutic capabilities - Esophageal Dilatation & Manometry:
Diagnostic and therapeutic - Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS):
Diagnostic and therapeutic uses - Liver Biopsy and Small Bowel Biopsy
