Neurologists with clinical expertise in General Neurology are invited to apply for an open Neuro hospitalist position at Penn State Health community hospitals. The schedule is 7-on-7-off at one hospital location per day (Hampden or Holy Spirit) with in-person neuro consultations, no acute stroke duties or telemedicine requirements. Candidates should possess EEG reading skillset for routine EEG.
Responsibilities- Provide in-person neuro consultations on a 7‑on‑7‑off schedule at designated hospital sites.
- Perform routine EEG readings.
- Participate in hospitalist teams without mandatory acute stroke or telemedicine duties.
- Medical degree – MD, DO, or foreign equivalent.
- Completion of an accredited residency program.
- Excellent patient care abilities and interest in teaching.
- EEG reading skillset.
