Orthopedist / Sports Med Physician – Wilkes-Barre, PA

Employment Type:

Part-Time (one day per week, no call or weekends)

Compensation: $250 per hour.

Our medical office provides high-quality integrated healthcare to people suffering from neuro‑musculoskeletal injuries and chronic conditions. We offer office-based diagnostic, surgical and rehabilitation services managed from evaluation through treatment to ensure patients have the best achievable outcomes. We are a leader in care delivery for personal injury and worker’s compensation cases, returning patients to their pre‑injury level of activity as quickly as possible.

• Patient care and management – initial medical consults and follow‑up appointments.
• Recommend appropriate tests and conduct diagnostic testing to determine extent of injury and appropriate treatment.
• Order diagnostic labs and imaging, including in‑house computerized neurocognitive testing.
• Oversee patient diagnosis and treatment of occupational or motor vehicle injuries, mild to moderate closed head injuries, and post‑traumatic headaches.
• Prepare patients for return to work after illness or injury.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation.
• Order or refer to in‑house therapies.
• Collaborate with colleagues and staff for comprehensive patient care.
• Uphold the company’s mission to provide exceptional patient care aligned with its goals.

• MD/DO from an accredited educational institution.
• Board certification (BCBE) in Neurology, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R), Pain Management, Orthopedics, and/or Sports Medicine.
• Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of PA.
• Favorable malpractice history.
• Basic Life Support / Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification.
• DEA license.

Part‑time: one day per week. No call or weekends.
