Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure clinician educator track.
Expertise is required in the specific area of neuromusculardisorders. Applicants must have an M.D, M.D/Ph.D, or equivalent degree. Candidate must demonstrate excellent qualifications and clinical care and must be board certified or eligible by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
Teaching responsibilities may include participation in the clinical education of medical students, residents, and fellows.
Clinical responsibilities may include providing outpatient and inpatient consultative services. The candidate will be expected to participate in CHOP's new state of the art motion analysiscenter.
Research or scholarship responsibilities may include clinical orbasic science research and will be dependent on the candidate'sinterests and independent support.
