Frontera Search Partners is seeking a Board-Certified Vascular Surgeon to provide onsite vascular surgery services at the Wilkes-Barre VA Medical Center. This position offers a balanced mix of outpatient clinic, surgical procedures, inpatient consults, and on-call coverage while serving our nation's Veterans.

• Approximately 80% outpatient clinic, 10% inpatient consults, 5% operating room, and 5% emergency consults.

• Estimated 50 clinic patients per week across the Surgical Clinic, Vascular Clinic, and Wound Care Clinic.

• Perform approximately vascular procedures per month, with case volume consisting of roughly 60% wound care and 40% other vascular procedures.
  
  - Typical daily workload includes 20 clinic patients or 2 3 surgical cases.

• Work alongside experienced OR staff, physician assistants, nursing staff, and clinic schedulers in a collaborative surgical environment.

• Telehealth is permitted for follow-up clinic visits.

• Approximately 1 weekend call rotation every 4 5 weeks

• Approximately 7 10 weeknight call shifts per month

• Average callback frequency of about once per week

• Must be available within 15 minutes by phone and onsite within 60 minutes when called

• No post-call relief is provided.

• Board Certified Vascular Surgeon (Board-certified physicians are preferred)

• Active unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state or territory

• Active DEA Registration

• Active NPI

• Current AHA BLS Certification

• Current AHA ACLS Certification

• Ability to complete VA credentialing, annual training, and occupational health requirements

Each candidate submission must include one PDF containing:

• MMR vaccine or positive titer

• Hepatitis B vaccine or positive titer

• Varicella vaccine or positive titer

• TB skin test, blood test, or chest X-ray

• Current influenza vaccination
