Job Description Summary Board Certified Radiation Oncologist with a minimum of five years of experience strongly preferred to serve as a full-time physician, primarily at Valley Forge, Radiation Oncology practice. The successful candidate will serve a dual role as a clinician and Medical Director, responsible for sustaining and growing the patient population and referral base, providing inpatient hospital services as needed, and fulfilling all medico-administrative duties associated with hospital medical staff membership.
As Medical Director, the individual will oversee the Radiation Oncology Clinic at Valley Forge, reporting to the Network Regional Medical Director, and will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality patient care, efficient consultation services, streamlined clinical processes, and appropriate treatment protocols. The Medical Director will oversee quality metrics, outcome measures, and budget submissions in collaboration with network and Valley Forge administration, while working closely with physicians, nursing, and technical staff to maintain excellent clinical operations.
The role also includes driving the development of new clinical programs and innovations to deliver the latest technologies and services. The candidate must maintain an unrestricted medical license in Pennsylvania and, if applicable, New Jersey and is expected to provide clinical coverage as needed.

Provide safe, high-quality clinical care to patients while building, establishing, and maintaining a strong clinical practice at Valley Forge.
Quality & Patient Safety:
Lead continuous improvement initiatives addressing patient satisfaction, and ensure quality and safety standards are consistently integrated into departmental processes.

Identify issues requiring remediation or continued development among team physicians, communicating outcomes and resolutions with relevant physicians and departmental leadership. General Site Operations:
Coordinate with network and site administration to manage physician scheduling, ensuring appropriate and adequate coverage across the practice; serve as the primary communication bridge between the practice and departmental leadership, ensuring timely and transparent exchange…
