This large hospital operates as part of a health system and provides dedicated radiation oncology services in a structured on-site outpatient and clinic-based environment. The facility is staffed by 1.5 physicians with no APP support and maintains established clinical protocols to support coordinated oncology patient management. Appropriate resources are in place to facilitate effective cancer care delivery throughout the coverage period.

Sayre, Pennsylvania is a historic town with roots in the railroad manufacturing industry, which is preserved at a local museum dedicated to that heritage. The area offers a range of attractions, including a brewing company, gift and quilt shops, and an antique market with broad, affordable merchandise. Visitors may also explore outdoor activities and local shopping, providing options suited to a variety of interests.

Clinicians will provide outpatient and clinic-based radiation oncology services Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, at this on-site facility, with no call or weekend requirements. Daily responsibilities include managing approximately 20 patients on treatment per day, 10 new consults per week, and 15 follow-up visits per week, with SBRT experience required. All patient documentation must be completed through EPIC EMR.

Board certification in Radiation Oncology, an active state medical license, and prescriptive authority are required for this assignment.
