Psychiatrist

An immediate and ongoing locum tenens opportunity is available for a psychiatrist at a state department of corrections facility in Muncy, Pennsylvania. The clinician will provide full-time inpatient and outpatient psychiatric services for an adult female incarcerated population in a secure correctional environment. Responsibilities include conducting initial evaluations, medication management follow-up visits, documentation, and collaborating with the behavioral health team.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-time inpatient and outpatient psychiatric services for an adult population in a correctional setting
• Conduct psychiatric evaluations (1 hour per initial evaluation)
• Provide medication management follow-up visits (15-30 minutes per visit)
• Complete required documentation
• Collaborate with the behavioral health team
