Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Ophthalmology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the Universityof Pennsylvania seek candidates for several Associate Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree. Fellowship training in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Glaucoma and/or 5+ years of clinical experience treating complex pediatric glaucoma is preferred.

Teaching responsibilities may include teaching pediatricophthalmology fellows, ophthalmology and pediatric residents, and medical students.

Clinical responsibilities may include clinical and surgicalactivity at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) in outpatient and inpatient settings. The clinical practice will focuson medical and surgical management of newborn, pediatric, andadolescent patients and will include extended evening hours and/orweekend sessions and on-call responsibilities. Clinical practice will also include outpatient clinics and outpatient surgery at CHOPAmbulatory Specialty Centers and Ambulatory Surgery Centers in theCHOP Ambulatory Specialty Care Centers and Ambulatory Surgery Centers in the CHOP Primary and Secondary Region, as well as the primary CHOP hospital site.

Responsibilities may include evening/weekend on call assignments.
