Medical Oncologist​/Hematologist

UPMC Hillman Cancer Center in Somerset, PA is seeking a Medical Oncologist/Hematologist to join their growing team. Physicians will deliver high-quality care, participate in clinical trials, and work within a recently renovated facility offering modern treatments. • Recently renovated facility on the UPMC Somerset hospital campus
• Part of an integrated, physician-led network of clinicians
• Practice includes outpatient and inpatient medical consults, chemotherapy, lab and supportive therapy visits
• Somerset Hospital is a 118 licensed-bed hospital
• UPMC Hillman Cancer Center is one of the largest integrated community cancer networks in the United States and Western Pennsylvania's only NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality care
• Participate in numerous clinical trials available throughout the UPMC Hillman Cancer Center network
• Provide care in the clinic and hospital Monday
  - Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm
• Provide outpatient and inpatient medical consults, chemotherapy, lab and supportive therapy visits

Compensation

• $500K base plus wRVU bonus
• Partnership track, no buy in
• $25K signing bonus

Shift & Schedule

• Full-time
• Care is provided in the clinic and hospital Monday

Requirements

• Successful candidates should have or be able to obtain a Pennsylvania medical license
• Board certified/board eligible in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology
• Candidates requiring a J-1 visa waiver or H-1B sponsorship following a J-1 waiver are welcome to apply
