The University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) at Somerset is seeking a full-time Anesthesiologist to join our collaborative group of physicians in Somerset, Pennsylvania. You will work alongside a close-knit team of anesthesiologists and CRNAs, handling bread-and-butter cases in a 111-bed community hospital. The position offers an attractive schedule of two weeks on and one week off, along with 17 weeks off per year.
Practice Info
- Joining a team of 3 anesthesiologists and an exceptional staff of 6 CRNAs
- Teaching opportunities with CRNA students
- 5 operating rooms, 1 endoscopy suite and GI labs
- Surgical procedures from Gastroenterology, Orthopaedics, ENT Urology, General Surgery, Dental, Podiatry, GYN and Pain Management
- Caseload of about cases per year per physician
- UPMC Somerset is a 111-bed community hospital serving a population of 74,000
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical care and participate in call during the first week of the schedule
- Provide clinical care during the second week of the schedule
- Participate in teaching opportunities with CRNA students
Compensation
- Competitive compensation
- Minimum of $450k plus $50k of extra shifts available

Requirements
- Must be BC/BE
- Have an MD or equivalent
- Ability to obtain an unrestricted PA license
- J1 and H1B visa sponsorship
