This state department of corrections facility is a medium- and maximum-security institution housing adult women and is one of only two state prisons serving a female incarcerated population. The facility delivers structured inpatient and outpatient psychiatric services within a secure correctional environment. Locum tenens coverage is sought on an immediate and ongoing basis to meet the clinical needs of the population served.

Clinicians in this role will provide full-time inpatient and outpatient psychiatric services for an adult population in a correctional setting, working day shifts totaling 40 hours per week on-site. Clinical responsibilities include conducting psychiatric evaluations (1 hour per initial evaluation), providing medication management follow-up visits (15-30 minutes per visit), completing required documentation, and collaborating with the behavioral health team. No call coverage is required for this assignment.
