DCCC is expanding its clinical nursing instructor pool and currently seeking experienced registered nurses to function as clinical instructors to provide instruction, supervision, and evaluation of students in a variety of healthcare settings and nursing laboratory experiences.  Responsibilities include teaching clinical and simulation lab courses in nursing concepts. Other responsibilities will include orientation to the clinical facility, preparation time and completion of paperwork for clinical and students.  

Faculty members are expected to provide high quality instruction and to implement assessment as necessary based on department requirements.

Mentoring support will be provided for individuals new to clinical nursing education.  Day, evening and weekend assignments are available.

Qualified candidate must have a BSN (MSN preferred); demonstrated clinical expertise, knowledge of nursing theory/practice; excellent oral and written communication skills; commitment to student; professional development; and compliance with all regulatory and clinical facility requirements.
