Description:
This role involves providing crucial support to adult education and literacy programs, focusing on areas such as social media, community outreach, and recruiting students, tutors, and volunteers. Responsibilities include planning and executing strategic social media campaigns to enhance program visibility, actively engaging in community outreach initiatives, and collaborating with local entities to promote awareness. Additionally, the position is pivotal in the recruitment process, identifying potential participants and contributors through targeted strategies and community events.
The goal is to expand program reach, foster community engagement, and ensure a diverse and supportive network for the success of adult education initiatives.
Qualifications:
* High School diploma or equivalent
* Previous office or clerical experience required
* Demonstrated proficiency with a variety of technology tools, including Microsoft Office suite of products, Google, and various social media platforms, including Facebook and Twitter
* Demonstrated ability in website maintenance and updating
* Must be personable and possess outstanding communication skills
* Must be able to work independently, take initiative, and possess the ability to make good decisions
* Must be able to learn new skills and programs
Terms:
Part-time, 20 hours/week
Salary: $19.99/hour
