The Exeter Township School District is seeking a compassionate special education teacher responsible for planning instruction and/or adapting the education program to enable students to benefit from educational experiences in learning support classrooms.
Responsibilities- Plan instruction and/or adapt the education program to enable students to benefit from educational experiences.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of district-approved curriculum.
- Plan curriculum, lessons, and special education programs utilizing specialized and adaptive teaching methods and materials.
- Evaluate academic and social growth of students, prepare and maintain appropriate educational records, IEPs, required forms/reports, and provide specific and timely feedback.
- Foster an environment that encourages active student participation in the learning process.
Approved Pennsylvania Teaching Certification in Special Education and required supplemental professional development.
