Overview
Are you passionate about supporting young learners during their earliest and most important years? We are seeking Special Education Itinerant Teachers to provide Early Intervention services to students and families through individualized and developmentally appropriate instruction. This Long-Term Substitute Itinerant Teacher role offers the opportunity to work one-on-one with children, collaborate closely with families and providers, and experience variety and flexibility while making a meaningful impact.
Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in education required (Early Childhood Education preferred)
- Pennsylvania Teaching Certification preferably in one of the following areas:
- Special Education PK–12
- Grades PK–4
- Early Childhood N-3
Candidates who do not hold a certification in any of the areas above, will be considered for an Emergency Permit.
Additional Requirements- Reliable Transportation and willingness to travel between service locations within Southeastern Pennsylvania and the border of Philadelphia County.
- Ability to work independently as and as a part of a collaborative Team.
