Job Summary:
This role involves guiding student leaders in planning and executing various activities and initiatives, ensuring they follow school policies, and helping them develop leadership skills.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance and support to student senators, officers, and committee members.
- Assist in the development of agendas, meeting protocols, and governance procedures.
- Help plan and facilitate regular senate meetings.
- Ensure meetings are conducted efficiently and effectively.
- Teach parliamentary procedures and democratic processes.
- Assist students in planning school events such as dances, fundraisers, assemblies, and community service projects.
- Ensure all student government activities comply with school policies and regulations.
- Serve as a liaison between the student senate and school administration.
- Communicate with students, families, staff and teachers.
- Performs other related duties as required by the Principal, Assistant Superintendent and/or Superintendent
