Location: ChesterbrookThis is a part‑time, affiliate faculty position in Mathematics.
Position Responsibilities
Oversee mathematics placement exams and foundational mathematics courses for in‑person and online mathematics courses.Consult with other departments on mathematics needs.Assist with general education mathematics assessment.Teach in and assist with EQUIP summer mathematics preparation.Contribute to FLEX coursework for foundational mathematics courses, as needed.Oversee tutoring and tutor training for foundational mathematics.Embody values of caring and compassion, justice and integrity, competence and affirmation.Seek to treat each member of the campus community with fairness, dignity, and respect seeking a spirit of unity and harmony as we join together to achieve our common mission.Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Candidates should possess a graduate degree in Mathematics or a related field. To be considered, candidates should have a commitment to excellent teaching in a Christian context.
