The Schuylkill Valley School District is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join our faculty at the high school effective with the start of the 2026-27 school year. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging mathematics instruction aligned with Pennsylvania academic standards while fostering critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a positive classroom environment. This position offers an opportunity to work collaboratively with colleagues to support student achievement and promote a strong culture of learning.

Qualifications:

Mathematics 7-12 PA teaching certificate, excellent communication, organization, and classroom management skills, demonstrated knowledge of effective instructional strategies in secondary mathematics, ability to integrate technology into instruction and assessment, commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment, demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with others, and acceptable record of attendance required. Master's degree in education, mathematics, or related field and experience teaching at the secondary level are preferred.
