Location: Downingtown

INTERNAL ONLY - Five vacancies currently exist for Department Head/Classroom Coaches at the Child & Career Development Center
- Great Valley campus.

Qualifications:

* Candidate MUST currently be scheduled to be employed at CCDC Great Valley

* Special Education or related Certification required, Master s degree preferred

* At least two years of experience teaching at the CCIU preferred

* Coursework in Ed. Leadership preferred

* Expertise communicating effectively with colleagues and a willingness to support colleagues during weekly prep periods

Position

Description:

* This position will require the teacher to work with consultants and building administration outside of the regular school day to receive training and consultation in order to support colleagues in their classrooms. It is essential that candidates project positivity at all times, and are publicly supportive of all building initiatives.

* This position requires the teacher to not only be aware of all practices regarding the PBIS program, but also to model all staff expectations with regard to the program.

* Classroom coaches will support colleagues in utilizing best practices within the classroom, which includes observing colleagues, providing effectively and timely feedback, and communicating and collaborating effectively with colleagues to increase the classroom staff s ability to demonstrate mastery of identified skills.

Rate:

* Per Professional agreement, supplemental duty worth up to 10 units @$196.00 per unit (prorated for the amount of time in the role during the 25-26 school year)
