Position Summary Information
Job Description Summary:
Part-Time Health Education Intern (8 hours/week) to assist the Mid-Atlantic Center for Children's Health and the Environment with developing materials for community members and providing education.
Requirements:
- Matriculation in Villanova graduate program
- Registered nurse
- Excellent written communication skills
- Interest in environmental health education or experience with health promotion/public health messaging
Essential job functions:
- Develop written materials related to extreme weather, wildfire smoke, extreme rain, flooding, and possibly other topics for dissemination to community groups.
- Assist with community outreach and educational events.
- Perform other duties and assist with projects as assigned.
Wage Rate:
18/hour
