Position Summary

The School of Liberal Arts & Sciences is seeking adjunct faculty members to teach the following course:

HIS 211:
Western Civilization to 1500: A survey of Western Civilization from the Ancient Near East through the Renaissance within the broader context of world history. The course highlights the great ancestors of the West: ancient Israel, classical Greece and Rome, and Christian Europe.

Course schedule:

Tuesdays & Thursdays 1:40 pm - 2:55 pm.

August 31-December 18, 2026

Required Education and Experience

Candidates must have a master's degree in history/education/political science or a related field. Teaching experience in Ancient History and Pre Renaissance is required.
