Location: Bensalem

A rewarding opportunity awaits experienced Special Education Teachers eager to make a difference with middle school students. This contract position runs from August 2026 through June 2027, offering a set schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:15 a.m. to 4:15 p.m., totaling 40 hours each week. The role is situated in the Bensalem, PA area and focuses on supporting students in 6th through 8th grades through both push-in and pull-out instructional models.

Ideal candidates bring classroom experience and a passion for helping students with diverse learning needs achieve their fullest potential. The position is designed for those who are fully certified in Pennsylvania, holding either an Instructional I or Instructional II certification in Special Education K-12-or those who will secure this qualification by the end of July. Emergency certifications are not accepted at this time.

What we're seeking:
  • Current Pennsylvania Instructional I or Instructional II certification in Special Education K-12, or eligibility to obtain by July
  • Experience working as a Special Education Teacher, preferably within a middle school environment
  • Familiarity with both push-in and pull-out support strategies
  • Commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive classroom environments
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key responsibilities:
  • Deliver instructional support and interventions within general education and resource settings
  • Adapt and modify curriculum to suit individualized education plans
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
  • Participate in IEP meetings and support compliance with all state and federal special education requirements
This position offers hourly compensation ranging from $37.50 to $54.75, based on experience and qualifications.
