Every day as an Instructional Support Specialist you will:
- Support the students with all classroom activities
- Ensure student safety
- Participate in the planning, implementation, and documentation of programs designed to meet the social, emotional, physical, and educational needs of the students
- Support and reinforce PBIS goals and objectives
You will be offered:
- Full Time Compensation: $17.50 - $19.95(based upon experience and education)
- Schedule:
Monday
-Friday, 8am-4pm (52-week year-round position) - Part Time Compensation: $19.50 - $22.23 (based upon experience and education)
- Schedule:
Up to 32 hours per week with flexibility during school hours - School environment that is supportive, educational and clinically focused

Devereux Center for Autism Research and Education Services (CARES) is an educational program licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Education that provides services to students, ages 5 to 21, diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities. CARES provides an environment that focuses on teaching each student based on his or her unique strengths and needs. Programming is focused on increasing independence for each student.

EDUCATION: High School Diploma required. Associates Degree or completion of two years of post-secondary education from an accredited college or university preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
Previous experience working in a special education or behavioral healthcare setting with students with severe/complex behavioral/emotional issues preferred.
