Great Valley School District is seeking a dynamic and passionate Spanish World Language Teacher (.2) to join its team. The ideal candidate will deliver engaging, proficiency-based instruction aligned with ACTFL standards, fostering students' skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing. A strong commitment to cultural understanding, inclusive teaching practices, and collaborative professional growth.
Responsibilities
- Deliver Spanish language instruction using immersive, communication-based methods
- Design culturally relevant curriculum aligned with ACTFL and state standards
- Assess student progress through varied, performance-based methods
- Foster a respectful, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in professional development
- Valid PA teacher certification in Spanish
- Strong proficiency in Spanish (oral and written)
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to utilize technology to enhance Spanish language instruction
