Polk Elementary, Pleasant Valley School District, Kresgeville, PA 18333
Experience:
0-2 years
Degrees / Certificates: PA Special Education N-12, PA Early Childhood N-3, PA Special Education N-8
Requirements:
- Valid PA Special Education N-12 or N-8 certification or Early Childhood PK-3 or Grades PK-4 certification.
- Ability to be trained and utilize TACT‑2 methods of behavior assessment and apply restraint when necessary.
- Basic computer skills to utilize both CIU‑20 computer‑based and web‑based programs.
Description:
Anticipated opening:
Long‑term substitute teacher needed for the Early Intervention program servicing locations as assigned within the Colonial Intermediate Unit 20 servicing area. Position beginning December 10, 2025 and continuing for 12 weeks. Early Intervention has a 188‑day work year spanning the entire school year, July through June.
