Description:
To provide a positive educational program for children identified as requiring special education programs and services using effective instructional practices. Our Multiple Disability program focuses on building academic and functional skills through research based practices and curriculums. Academic and functional skills learning is highly individualized based on the needs of each learner, and provides opportunities to build skills for students to become as independent as possible.
Qualifications:
* Valid PA Teaching Certification:
Special Education PK-12 or PK-8 (REQUIRED)
* Experience with students with special needs, (preferred)
Terms of Employment/
Schedule:
Full-Time, 7hrs/day, 190 days/year (This schedule follows the traditional school year schedule)
Salary: LIUEA Union Pay Scale
As of 7/1/2026 Bachelors Degree minimum start: $62,011.15 plus benefits
* Masters Degree minimum start (up to 44 credits): $66,511.15 plus benefits
