Villanova University College of Nursing has an ongoing need for highly qualified adjunct (part-time) nutrition faculty to provide instruction in nutrition related courses. Further information about the College of Nursing can be found lanova.edu/nursing.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Understand the course objectives of the course to which they are assigned and be familiar with the overall curriculum of the College of Nursing.

* Provide supervision of students in the classroom setting.

* Assist the students to accomplish the objectives of the course.

* Validate students' understanding of theoretical, scientific and evidence based concepts to meet course objectives.

* Evaluate and provide feedback to students on their accomplishment of course objectives.

Minimum Qualifications:

* Master's in speciality; licensure or eligibility for licensure in speciality (nutrition) in Pennsylvania. Experience in discipline required.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Previous experience in academic teaching and willingness to be flexible in fulfilling responsibilities.
