Paraprofessional - Immersion Program

• Paid credentials – eliminating upfront costs for clearances & TB screening.

• Pay rate: $24.00/hour for the  school year.
• 5 days paid time off (prorated based on hire date).
• Work on student days following the academic calendar.

• Future Ready Work Immersion Program – a specialized transition program for young adults with disabilities, combining classroom curriculum with hands‑on internships.
• Schedule: 7:40 am – 3:10 pm (full school day), paid through lunch break. Schedule may vary ±15–30 min.
• Location: Throughout Cumberland County based on student needs.

• Provide instructional, behavioral, and/or physical assistance to an individual student or a small group, including on‑task prompting, facilitating social and self‑care skills.
• Work with students on organizational skills, guide activities, and monitor progress.
• Directly support students at the direction of the classroom teacher and the building principal.

• High School Diploma required. For Title I positions, must pass “highly qualified” as mandated by NCLB.
• 2 years post‑secondary, Associate’s Degree or higher – preferred.
• Prior public‑school experience and/or working with school‑aged children in a licensed, certified, or registered provider setting – preferred.

• PA Child Abuse (Act 151) Clearance
• PA Criminal (Act 34) Clearance
• PA Department of Education FBI – Use code 1KG6XN
• TB Screening – current within 3 months
• Education Documentation – diploma or official transcripts
