• At least an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, Elementary Education, or the human services field.

• Two years of experience teaching children in an early learning setting.

• Establish, maintain, and implement standards of classroom management that support instruction while teaching the ECE curriculum
• Instruct assigned class with the ability to observe & assess children and plan and implement lesson plans
• Perform assessments and write reports
• Conduct a periodic review of educational goals and adapt plans as needed.
• Responsible to work in conjunction with the Director of Programs regarding daily issues and concerns.
• Responsible to perform duties professionally in response to a variety of students, co‑workers, and situations.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills reflecting strong customer service and the ability to interact effectively with parents/guardians
• Ability to maintain high‑level standards of confidentiality concerning center, staff, and family matters
