The District seeks candidates to fill a Special Education Assistant Long-Term Substitute position at Ingomar Elementary School, effective August 13, 2026 through May 28, 2027.
A Special Education Assistant will provide support services for identified students assigned to select regular and/or special education environments and will work collaboratively with Inclusion Facilitators, Special Education Teachers, and Regular Education Teachers to provide students with academic, emotional, social, behavioral, and physical support.
Special Education Assistant positions work 7 hours per day during the school year only.
Starting hourly rate will be in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement. The rate for the School Year is $20.70 per hour with a comprehensive individual benefit package available.
Minimum requirements include 48 credits of a post‑secondary education, an Associate’s Degree, or successful completion of the Para Pro Assessment.

- Successful candidate will be required to complete a pre‑employment Physical and TB Test.
