The Admissions Representative is responsible for providing customer service and information to prospective students interested in pursuing career education and training. This position conducts outbound telephone calls to individuals who have inquired about campus programs, meets with prospective students, answers questions, hosts campus tours, conducts interviews, facilitates enrollments, and participates in new‑student orientation. The representative routinely communicates with students throughout their educational experience.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct outbound and inbound telephone calls, texts, and e‑mails; respond promptly to all inquiries.
- Share information with prospective students in accordance with Ancora Education’s Code of Conduct and state/federal accreditation guidelines.
- Schedule campus visits, conduct campus tours, and facilitate registrations.
- Follow up with new students to ensure a smooth transition to active enrollment.
- Contribute to team initiatives and outcomes by collaborating with diverse employees and customers.
- Demonstrate strong presentation skills.
- Maintain consistent energy and enthusiasm.
- Perform effectively in an observation/coaching style environment.
- Apply proactive problem‑solving skills.
- Handle frequent interruptions and work independently.
- Manage priority setting competently.
- Foster creativity within team dynamics.
- Utilize strong computer software skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel, and industry‑related applications.
- Associate’s degree in a related field from a regionally or nationally accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
- Track record of success in a high‑volume customer service setting.
- Experience with Campus Vue and/or Velocify software.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two years’ experience in sales and/or customer service.
Employees may be required to stand, walk, sit, use hands for handling objects, reach, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and communicate verbally or audibly. Occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds. Computation tasks involve prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
