As Campus & Teaching Pastor, you will report to the South Region Lead Pastor and be responsible for casting vision, planning, implementing, and evaluating a comprehensive worship, service, and disciple‑making strategy for the Nolensville campus. You will align the campus with the overall mission of Brentwood Baptist Church, oversee day‑to‑day operations, act as liaison to the Brentwood campus, and provide preaching, pastoral care, and leadership to the community.

PRIMARY

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Establish, communicate and implement vision, objectives, goals, strategies and tactics for the Nolensville Campus, contextualizing them for the unique dynamics of this community.
  • Preach weekly on Sundays and teach when appropriate on Wednesdays and in other settings.
  • Provide oversight, equipping, and supervision of the campus ministry staff and volunteers, clearly communicating and implementing strategic and operational goals, processes, and systems.
  • Determine and develop appropriate oversight of the pastoral care aspects of the campus.
  • Develop an intentional and reproducible process for identifying and developing leaders within the congregation.
  • Coordinate the weekly worship gatherings in conjunction with the Brentwood Senior Pastor, worship and preaching teams, and the campus worship minister.
  • Participate in the weekly Preaching Team meeting and collaborate in sermon planning, as well as campus pastor development meetings led by the Senior Pastor.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Senior Executive Pastor’s office and/or the Senior Pastor.
  • Work with Executive Pastors to establish processes, systems, budgets, staffing models and accountabilities to support the campus mission.
  • Contextualize church‑wide goals to the campus and report regularly with clarity and integrity.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Report quarterly to the South Region Lead Campus Pastor on team progress and initiatives.
  • Pray with and for staff members regularly and hold them accountable for personal, spiritual, and professional growth.
  • Communicate effectively and work alongside an administrative assistant to manage day‑to‑day administrative responsibilities.
  • Be available to serve as a decision counselor, pastoral counselor, and on‑call minister as assigned.
  • Collaborate with the Communications Team to ensure the campus vision, strategy, and initiatives are communicated to the targeted demographic on a timely basis.
  • Participate in monthly and quarterly All Staff meetings at the Brentwood campus and other requested meetings at any of Brentwood Baptist’s campuses.
