The Manheim Central School District is seeking to hire a Full‑Time Learning Support Personal Care Assistant for a learner at our Middle School.
This individual, under the supervision of the classroom teacher, will assist students with disabilities in achieving specific goals related to education, daily living, and behavior. They will monitor students in a variety of school environments for the purpose of maintaining a safe and positive learning environment. In addition to this, the Personal Care Assistant reinforces learning by offering individual instruction and will assist with classroom clerical duties as needed.

- CPR Certification
- CPI Certification
An associate degree, or at least 48 hours of post‑secondary credits, is preferred. Otherwise, must present a PA Para educator Credential of Competency Certificate or be willing to complete free online program within three months of hire. Additionally, 20 hours of staff development is required each school year.
