About this PositionIgnite Education Solutions is hiring Personal Care Aides to work with students in the Bellwood Antis School District.
Hours- Hours are based on school district schedules.

- Required clearance costs reimbursed after hire upon completion of at least 10 working days prior to the end of the 2025‑26 school year.
- Help students with personal hygiene tasks, including toileting, grooming, and dressing.
- Support students in mobility and transferring as needed.
- Assist students with physical disabilities in moving around the school, classrooms, and other facilities.
- Offer emotional support and encouragement to students facing challenges.
- Follow individual care plans developed in collaboration with teachers, school nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ensure the unique needs of each student are met.
- Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to facilitate students' participation in classroom activities.
- Assist with instructional materials and adaptive equipment as required.
- Maintain open communication with teachers, parents, and school staff regarding students' progress and any concerns.
- Attend meetings with the educational team to discuss and update care plans.
- Encourage and empower students to develop and maintain independence in daily activities whenever possible.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- High school diploma is the minimum education requirement.
- Willingness to go through and pass required clearances and training to ensure the safety and security of our children, including mandated reporter training, physical, and TB test, typically within a week to get you started.
- Capacity for sitting, standing, walking, bending and stopping for long periods of time, as these occur throughout the eight‑hour day.
- Previous experience working with individuals with special needs or disabilities is preferred.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in supporting students with diverse needs.
- Ability to follow instructions, work collaboratively with a team, and adapt to changing situations.
- Understanding of confidentiality and privacy requirements related to student information.
$15.50 - $15.50
