Villanova University invites applications for adjunct teaching positions in Civil and Environmental Engineering for graduate courses taught in the evening and/or undergraduate courses taught during the day. The Civil and Environmental Engineering Department offers programs leading to the B.S. and M.S. degrees and participates in the College of Engineering Ph.D. degree program. Villanova is a Catholic university sponsored by the Augustinian Order.

Teaching and other duties which vary with specific courses.
* Master's degree required. The applicant must be committed to excellence in engineering education.
* An earned doctorate in Civil Engineering or closely allied discipline is strongly preferred. Previous teaching experience preferred.
Undergraduate courses are offered during the day; graduate courses during the evening. Graduate courses include a synchronous component.

This adjunct position falls within the salary range of $1,650.00 – $2,600.00 per credit/contact hour. The final compensation will be determined with consideration of several factors including the selected candidate's educational qualifications, course type (drill, lab, lecture), course level (undergraduate or graduate), and market benchmarks.
