Position: Course Assistant FRNSC 100 Academic year 2026/2027
Location: University Park

Forensic Science Program Course Assistant

The Forensic Science program seeks to hire part-time Course Assistants for the 2026/2027 academic year for FRNSC 100 – Introduction to Forensic Science.

Successful candidates will be expected to perform the following duties:

  • Grade submitted assignments, including (but not limited to) case notes homework, quizzes, exam, professional profiles, and/or extra credit
  • Interact with students via email and chatroom to facilitate understanding of course material and scientific concepts
  • Transcribe/caption lectures, videos, and/or other recordings for ADA compliance
  • Attend a weekly meeting with their supervisor
  • Other duties as assigned by the instructor

Applicants must have successfully completed FRNSC 100. Successful completion of FRNSC 210 is preferred, but not required. Preference will be given to Forensic Science majors.

Applications will be received on an ongoing basis and reviewed as the need arises. Hours, wages, and anticipated period of employment will vary.

Employment with the University will require successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies.
