If you answered YES to either of these questions, then consider joining our team as a PT Instructional Support Specialist at the School for Integrated Learning located in West Chester, PA.
Hours:
Up to 32 hours per week
Schedule:
Flexible hours during the time the children are in the school
Every day as a PT Instructional Support Specialist you will:
- Assist the children in your care with their individualized plans for daily life.
- Support the children with classroom activities
- Ensure the students are safe, healthy, and living in a clean environment.
- Participate in the planning, implementation, and documentation of programs designed to meet the social, emotional, physical, and personal needs of the client.
You will be offered:
- Pay-rate:$19.50 - $22.23 (based upon experience and education)
- Schedule: Up to 32 hours per week with flexibility during the hours that school is in session

Devereux Center for Autism Research and Education Services (CARES) is an educational program licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Education that provides services to students, ages 5 to 21, diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities. CARES provides an environment that focuses on teaching each student based on his or her unique strengths and needs. Programming is focused on increasing independence for each student.
EDUCATION: High School Diploma required. Associates Degree or completion of two years of post-secondary education from an accredited college or university preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
Previous experience working in a special education or behavioral healthcare setting with students with severe/complex behavioral/emotional issues preferred.
