The Freie Montessorischule Barnim e.V. has stood for a respectful and open togetherness for over 25 years. In our elementary and high school as well as in our daycare center in Eberswalde, we create an environment in which children can learn actively and independently. Our daily routine is characterized by Montessori pedagogy and other reform pedagogical approaches.

• Subject teaching in mathematics and natural sciences in classes 4, 5, and 6
• Class leadership in the class leadership team of the learning group 4-6

• State examination or equivalent professional qualification with teaching approval
• Existing Montessori diploma or willingness to acquire it
• Team capability, engagement, joy in working with children, as well as an independent, structured working method
• Ideally practical experience in pedagogical work, in project work, as well as in age-spanning and self-organized learning

• Salary according to house tariff, aligned with the TVöD
• Asset-based services (job ticket, BAV)
• Employment with a scope of 70–90 % and an excellent student-teacher ratio (approx. 10–12 students per year)
• A day off from teaching per week if needed
• Design space and participation in a committed and respectful team
• Regular team retreats, internal further education, and supervisions
• Support in professional development
