Middle School Social Studies Teacher

Teacher Position

Kennett Consolidated School District is seeking a dynamic teacher who will nurture, prepare, and empower all students to succeed in their academic, social, and emotional journey. A teacher who exhibits a belief in the importance of relationships and resiliency through a student-centered approach will be able to successfully support the district's mission and vision. Kennett's uniquely diverse student population makes applicants considered to be fluent or bilingual highly sought.

Applicants with at least three (3) Spanish courses at the college/university level or who have a command of conversational Spanish are encouraged to apply. Salary based on education level and years of experience.

Requirements:

Must have an active, valid PA 7-12 Social Studies certificate

Must have clearances that are within one year of hire (Acts 114, 134, 151, and 168)
