Paraprofessional / IA
The Bald Eagle Area School District has a (part‑time), 5.75 hours daily, Para‑Educator opening at the Middle/High School.
This position is available at the start of the 2026/27 school year.
Responsibilities- Assist in providing instruction to individual or small groups of students in a special education resource learning environment.
- Monitor and report student progress regarding behavior and performance.
- Perform a variety of other duties relative to assigned area of responsibility.
- Summers off.
- Follows school calendar.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Experience with mild to severely handicapped children is a plus. On‑the‑job training will be provided.

- Current clearances (within one year) required:
Act 34 (PA Criminal History), Act 114 (FBI Fingerprint), Act 151 (PA Child Abuse). - Clearances must be attached to online application.
- Clearances must be for employment; volunteer clearances will not be accepted.
- Upon hire, Act 168 paperwork, current physical examination (within 6 months of hire start date), current TB test (within 6 months of hire start date), and Act 126 (Mandated Reporter) are required.
