Anticipated - Associate Teacher

Associate Teacher Position

An Associate Teacher position is anticipated in the Nazareth Area School District, with an initial assignment at Nazareth Area Middle School. Qualifications for this position include, but are not limited to: completion of at least two years of postsecondary study at an institution of higher education; or an associate's degree. Experience working with students in a middle school setting is beneficial.

Adept in written and oral communication skills. Successful interpersonal skills and teamwork. Ability to take direction, to show initiative, and to know when either is appropriate. Flexibility in handling a wide variety of situations in the school environment, job, and community. Salary and benefits will be in accordance with the terms and conditions currently in effect between the Nazareth Area School District and the Nazareth Area Educational Support Personnel Association.

The  salary is $24.90 per hour. Both internal and external candidates must submit their cover letter of interest, application and all other necessary documents through Frontline. Additional paperwork will be required prior to/upon hire, including but not limited to PA School Health Record with TB test, Act 168 for current and previous employers and I-9 form with appropriate work authorization documents and updated clearances current within one year.
