Currently, a vacancy exists for a Part Time Instructional Assistant working within the division of Career, Technical, & Customized Education at the Technical College High School Brandywine Campus in Downingtown, PA for the  school year. Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED, required Experience working with secondary students, preferred Current police, child abuse, & FBI Fingerprint clearances (within one year), required before start date

Duties and Responsibilities:

Applicants will be responsible for assisting in the implementation of basic skills in high school academics and the career and technical programs Must have the ability to work independently and as a member of a team in an educational setting Assisting the Teacher:
Preparing instructional materials Maintaining discipline and other behavior management functions Arranging the learning environment Assembling, adjusting, and maintaining equipment and technology used in the instructional program Administering educational assessments Performing other duties as assigned Assisting with Students:
Working with individual students or small groups on activities assigned by the teacher Assisting, within the constraints of specific program regulations, in the supervision of students during non-instructional times throughout the day such as lunchtime, entering or exiting the building, etc

Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 185 days per year, 6.5 hours per day
