The Bearcat Institute of Learning and Development (BILD) is seeking an innovative, student-centered Secondary BILD English Language Arts Teacher (grades 7-12) to join our growing online and hybrid learning program in the BILD classroom located at the high school.

This position will serve students in grades 7–12 enrolled in BILD's fully online and hybrid learning programs, while providing academic support and individualized assistance to BILD students within the high school setting. The successful candidate will utilize district-developed curriculum and courses in Canvas while also designing engaging learning experiences that build strong relationships, foster community, and support student success both virtually and in person.

This role requires a teacher who is committed to creating a welcoming and supportive environment where students feel connected, engaged, and successful in a flexible learning model.

The ideal candidate is innovative, flexible, collaborative, and demonstrates a strong growth mindset. Candidates must hold a valid Pennsylvania English 7–12 Instructional Certification. Experience with online teaching or learning is preferred, but not required. The successful applicant should possess strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills while being willing to think creatively to meet the diverse academic and social-emotional needs of BILD students.

This teacher will play an essential role in supporting students and families while helping continue to grow BILD's mission of community-rooted online and hybrid learning.
